Filmmaker and visual journalist based between Milan and Berlin. With a career spanning more than fifteen years, he has been focusing on the human consequences of war, migration and environmental crises, combining investigative reporting with an immersive documentary approach.

His work has been published on Internazionale, Arte, Al Jazeera English, ABC Australia, National Geographic, Wired, Vanity Fair and Corriere della Sera, among others. His fieldwork has taken him to Afghanistan, Sudan, Haiti, Bangladesh, Iraq, Gaza and Ukraine, often working on stories where conflict intersects with everyday life.

He's been collaborating with NGOs as EMERGENCY, Terre des Hommes and H&I, and with international organisations including the WHO, AICS and UNICEF, planning storytelling strategy as much as producing the work itself.

Since 2020, he has held the reportage Visual Journalism course at IULM University in Milan and a master programme in journalism at IULM, bringing his field experience into the classroom alongside his research on the relationship between images, ethics and the people behind the stories.
